The Jolly Harbour Yacht Club would like to welcome all members back for the 2024/2025 Season! We are anticipating another great year and are excited to welcome new members to our club.
 
As most of you are aware, we have moved our Club nights on Thursdays and Saturdays to the new, “Out Out Bar and Lounge” in the commercial centre (previously Akropolis). All club members will receive a 10% discount on all drinks during club nights. You will be required to show your membership cards to receive the discount. Membership cards will be available for the month of November during club nights at Out Out (Donna and Kevin will arrange). If you need to pay your membership, please contact Joe Chin.
 
Our first official club night with discount will be November 7th from 5pm to 8pm and every Thursday and Saturday thereafter.
 
We have finally confirmed three official social dates booked for our formal JHYC Buffet Dinners at the Mangroves, Jolly Beach Resort. Please mark them down in you calendars:
 
Christmas Dinner: Saturday Dec. 7th $200 EC per person.  All inclusive buffet and open bar with entertainment, announcements and prize giving to include:
 
Mixed salads, Quiche, Roasted Turkey with stuffing and gravy, Baked Ham, herb crusted Snapper, gratin potatoes, veg, sauces, rolls, apple pie and chocolate cake.
 
Valentine Regatta: Saturday, Feb 8th  $170 EC per person. All inclusive buffet and open bar with entertainment and prize giving to include:
 
Island greens, Potato salad, Tomato salad, Breaded fish, Roasted Beef Top Round, Chicken Kiev, potatoes gratin, mushroom rice, veg, sauces, rolls, carrot cake and profiterole.
 
End of Season Bash: Saturday March 15th $170EC all inclusive buffet and open bar with entertainment, announcements and prize giving to include:
Garden greens, Tomato pesto, Cabbage slaw, Roasted Chicken, Pork Loins, gravy, Red Snapper in a white wine butter sauce, scalloped potatoes, rice, veg, sauces, rolls, lemon cake and strawberry mousse.
 
Tickets or armbands for the dinners will be available for purchase through JHYC Committee members or at a select few of the Club nights to be announced.
 
Please note: All above prices include gratuities.
 
On another note: Although our choices or avenues for social events may be somewhat limited this season due to bar closures, construction and the ever-changing Jolly Harbour area, it doesn’t mean we are not keeping it fresh!!!
 
On the social side of things, we are planning other events to spice things up and encourage new memberships within the community.

 The cruising section also organises trips to other bays nearby or longer trips to places such as Green Island and Bird Island. These normally include a BBQ on the beach and an overnight stay before returning to Jolly Harbour. Check the Events Calendar for dates and locations.  There are also rallies to other neighbouring islands such as Barbuda, Guadeloupe, Nevis, St Kitts and Montserrat.
